Some of my words: I'm glad this is finally being done and I hope for the best with this game. It's been over twenty years and we have not gotten any new Streets of Rage games since Streets of Rage 3 for the SEGA Genesis (except for Bare Knuckle Mobile, which was a 2009 mobile phone game only out in Japan).
The game looks good so far, though there hasn't been too much gameplay shown so far, as the game was just recently announced. The only playable characters shown so far are Axel and Blaze, but we will probably see more as time goes on. There is a new character shown at the end of the trailer as well, but not much was revealed so far in that regard.
Announcing the game is just the beginning, as we hope to see another classic that we can look forward to and greatly enjoy.
